He played nearly 1300 games and is one of the greatest iron men the league has known.

Can you do a video on the Career of patrik lanie since he’s been brought up a lot during trade rumors.
Love Cogs!
Panthers fan trying everything to get last night off the mind. Let’s learn about the career of the Cog
Mambo Cogliano ♥️♥️
Shannon, would you consider creating a locals account so you can livestream game 7 of the final and we as subscribers can watch it. I know you don't have to worry about copyright strike because a creator I know livestream Bills games for the past 2 years to his subscribers/followers or would you do that on Patreon?
Thanks!
I had a feeling he was retiring this year. As an Avs fan, losing him and Parise is sad to see. Both guys were excellent role players this last season, and Cogs was huge for our cup run. Thanks for everything cogs 🫡
Never really focused much on A-Cog. To me he seemed like just a 3rd line forward. Hoping his post-NHL life goes well.
Cogs was so awesome for us. An absolute warrior and one of the hardest-working players I’ve ever watched. So happy to see him staying in the Avs organization!
As a Ducks fan, he was definitely fun to watch and towards the fans. His programs Cogs for Dogs was a fan favorite. And man, him getting suspended losing that Ironman streak hurt us the fans and himself as well. It’s worse that it was stopped by a Ducks favorite too, George Parros. Glad to see him win the Cup along with Josh Manson, two former Ducks we love that won the cup with the Avs
God why does Anaheim insist on wearing ugly orange.
Long time Duck. Congrats on a great career!
I went from not paying attention much to him to calling Mackinnon a genius for pushing so hard to get him. Ill always remember him as being the key cog (no pun intended) in the best 4th line in the league. Good luck in the front office Cogs
Glad he was able to get his Cup before he retired.
Speed never hurts for the NHL.
Woodbridge Legend 🔒🇮🇹
Can you do a Mike Smith and Braden Holtby video? Not official retired but likely
Could you do one for Brenden Morrow? He was one of my favorites Stars players.
Ducks fan favorite. We love Cogs and he should be very proud of what he accomplished.
Kakko is the next guy like this
I firmly believe Cogs was suspended because someone in the League office didn't want the Ironman record going to an Anaheim Duck. In the prior off season Cogs had signed a new contract and there were news articles citing and bringing attention to the fact that Cogs would reach the record during that contract extension. The hit he was suspended for didn't result in an injury and felt like a huge overreaction. Especially since that suspension killed his streak. That punishment was even more absurd when you recall how Cog's got his front teeth knocked out while taking a faceoff against Chicago and there was never a call made even though TV coverage showed his two front teeth on the ice and he was clearly gushing blood. They had to stop play to pick up his teeth and clean up the blood but there was never a penalty called.
Cogs
Cogliano was sooo fast back when he was an oiler. Now Conner Brown plays his role there.
Man, I'm sad he's retiring, but so glad he's joining the avs front office. My mother and I called cogs team dad cause he always brought that presence. Always high fives everyone in the tunnel as the entered the ice and always had an amazing personality on the bench.
In the lockout season he was also on the roster of later Champion KAC , you missed this 😉
As a Sharks fan it was a pleasure to have Cog into the team and winning the cup with the Avs the same year, just a feel good story
Cogs was such an awesome player for the Ducks, especially being part of that dynamite Cogliano-Kesler-Silfverberg line. Such a great guy as well. Always took the time to take pictures with fans and was pretty involved in the community, especially with his Cogs for Dogs Foundation. Congrats on retirement, Cogs!
For some reason, I I would always confuse him with Carl Hagelin I don't know why, but their both retired now. And that suspension was brutal.
No cup
Track ref calls
Love cogs the iron man! still hate Parros for that bullshit suspension ruining his streak. Thanks for 8 great years in Anaheim!
Cogs delivered The Speech before Game 6 that inspired COL to shutdown TBL & bring the Cup home! Cogs was a warrior & champion!
Hes not only had a solid career but hes a great person off the ice. I miss the days when he was a Duck but im so happy he was able to get his cup.
2007 Stanley Cup champion George Parros isnt allowed in the City of Anaheim for his bs call to suspend Cogs
Edit: Smid was in the Pronger trade, Penner leaves for Edmonton via Offer Sheet, so yes, funny how that trade would've looked
