Vincent Trocheck Wins It In 2OT, NYR Take Game 2 | Home Radio Feed | CAR v NYR | May 7th, 2024

In a double overtime thriller at Madison Square Garden, Vincent Trocheck ends the marathon with an overtime power play game-winning goal to defeat the Hurricanes 4-3 and head to Raleigh up 2-0 in the series! This video features the ESPN 98.7 feed of all the goals with Kenny Albert and Dave Maloney!

I’m glad I bit the bullet and attended this game live. One of the better games I’ve been to as MSG.

Alexis Lafreniere Goal 1: 0:00 – 1:11
Alexis Lafreniere Goal 2: 1:11 – 2:16
Chris Kreider Goal: 2:16 – 3:25
Vincent Trocheck 2OT Winner: 3:25 – 8:24

All the videos, songs, images, and graphics used in the video belong to their respective owners (NHL, New York Rangers, ESPN, ABC, ESPN 98.7FM) and I or this channel does not claim any right over them.

  1. Had the ESPN broadcast on mute while listening to the Ranger radio feed is the way to go. Not wholly synchronized but better than listening to the TV broadcast.

  3. I have to thank you for doing this! I wish there was a way to synch the rangers radio broadcast with TV in real time. The National Broadcast is so bad that it is laughable!

  4. Your are a legend Floating Apple thanks for showing not only the goal but the lead up and face offs. ESPN can learn a thing from you. LFG NYR!!!

  5. @FloatingAppleProductiona Thanks for posting the highlights with the ESPN radio feed!!! Aside from Marv, his son Kenny, who sounds exactly like a younger Marv Albert, is one of the best play by play annnouncers anywhere….The winning 2 OT goal call is EPIC!!!! Let's Go Rangers AND Knicks 2024!!!!! 🙂

  6. My ears have been cleansed of the horrific play by play (on ESPN), or shall I say rambling chatter about nothing in the middle of big plays.

  7. I grew up listening to Marv Albert, Kenny's father, doing the Knicks and Rangers games. It takes a special kind of announcer to bring you into the game when you're listening to it rather than watching it, and I don't think anybody did it better than Marv. And Kenny does a stellar job of following in his Father's footsteps. Great call, as always. Unfortunately, I had to deal with the horrendous announcing, hideous camera work and terrible timing of Sean McDonough's calls.

6 down, 10 to go! LET'S GO RANGERS!

  8. Игоря поддерживают 👍 все и только для россиян 🇷🇺 он не достаточно хорош. Игорь ❤❤❤

  9. Thanks for bringing the Kenny Albert call. I loved Sam Rosen – the voice of my youth – but its time for him to give way to Kenny on the TV side and keep LaGreca as the regular on the radio side.

  10. Fuck espn. They don't show relevant replays and have too many females working for them who don't know what the hell they're doing.

  11. Everything is possible with this team. Damn😎 Rangers, i believe in you 💙🤍❤️

  12. I need help understanding sometimes. My Rangers refuse to go down and find a way to win by coming from behind. Something is up this year. This is special, and I'm happy about it. Let's go and sweep the cans now.

  13. Watching Lafrienere play explains why Gallant was such an obstacle in the development of Lafrienere and Kakko who I believe will develop into an NHL offensive player and why he was a first round pick.

  14. Brent Burns is getting exposed as the 39 year old he is. Seems like every goal against he's just wandering around the crease, doing nothing in particular.
