The land auction scheduled for June 27th, which Arizona Coyotes owner Alex Meruelo intended to purchase land for a new arena, has been cancelled.
UPDATE
The Arizona Coyotes have issued a statement, saying they are exploring their legal options.
They also seemingly confirmed that this took them by surprise.
