I’ve seen a lot of fluff towards Mcdavid on this sub and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But the point of this post is to really magnify the impact that these two monsters have had on the sport of hockey. MacKinnon is going for something that Mcdavid is very familiar with, and vice versa. If Mcdavid were to lift lord stanley like MacKinnon did coming up on 2 years ago he solidifies himself as a top 6-10 player of all time if he isn’t already that. If our very own Mackinnon were to win either/both the ted lindsay and Hart trophy he solidifies himself as a top 3 player of the 2020s barring any catastrophe.
Mcdavid and MacK are amongst the most skilled to ever lace em up along side Cale Makar. This generation of hockey is the golden era, and if all goes well and both players win awards that they very much deserve. 2024 might be the VERY PEAK of nhl history. I want to hear your opinion below as I know Mcdavid is talked about a little bit in this sub. But this is just my piece. GoAvsGo!

mack and mcdavid are the two best players in the league easily. idk who’s 1 and 2 i’d say both of them are equally as elite i’d put both of them at number 1
unfortunately i hear many fans shitting on mack because they’re mcdavid fans and he’s seen as “competition” for mcdavid but it’s always best to appreciate them both
i’ve never had more fun watching hockey than when we played against edmonton in the 2022 wcf. it was so fun to watch them on the ice at the same time
