I think this was a horrible decision. He played terrible in the second half of the season and in the playoffs and on top of that his post season media press conference was beyond horrible

Way too much money I would not pay him more than five! Four would be better! Not prove at all!!!
That is sweet. Hronek was a big addition to the team, and now he's staying for the long haul. I frigging love it. The team is headed in the right direction. They have the core players locked up and have key players in every position. The problem is how to fill out the rest of the team with the remaining cap space.
I'd be more comfortable with a Gustav Forsling type cap of 5.75.
IDK if i like it. Obviously, I'd rather keep him, but 7.25 is way too high. Hope it's worth losing some of the following players: Zadorov, Joshua, Boeser, Demko, Silovs, Hoglander,

Re-signing Hronek for the length was good, the amount per season is a bit too high. So I'd say it's a good deal but could've been better.

Not so bad signing, although I'm not convinced of the 8 years. I would've shortened it to maybe 5 years max, especially when the Canucks will be in a situation where they're going to trade him down the road, and the pay may be a bit stretched … but I guess that's where he sets the next bar for term.
Now it's time to get Big-Z signed!
It feels like a lot, but it only a little more than what we were paying Meyers. I expect the total for Meyers and Hronek to remain about the same so nothing really changes. I think Hronek will continue to improve as a player through this contract as he is only 26.
He's only 26 and the contract is over when he's 34, can't get any better than that. May seem like alot now but this will be a bargain in short time with the cap going up. Canuck management continues to impress.
