Kyle 17 NHL Seasons I read what you said earlier today that you talked to your kid about how special this is a dream come true for you how do you explain it now that it’s a reality um I don’t know just just peer Jubilation and you know you start to think about today as the day wears on you wake up from your nap and you put 30 years into this basically to try to to try to hoist that Trophy and all the hard work all the skates everything it was um which is pretty special to finally uh get it done we got another one coming two little guys here down there what’s it like to see your dad Hoist the Stanley Cup but it’s great oh my gosh did you love the game did you love every second yeah what was your favorite part when they scored the game winning goal yes the game-winning goal Kyle you you’ve you’ve been through a lot throughout your career and you’ve I remember playing against you in Long Island in Buffalo wasn’t wasn’t a pleasant game ever when I was playing against you I thought you you found another level of physicality is that just what was at stake what you’ve been through motivation CU you were so close yeah I mean I came in here and and um there was no guarantee of me playing and I was going to do whatever it took to um whatever the team needed and I said it from the first day I got here I wanted to be a spoke in the wheel and because it was a well ill machine I wasn’t coming to a team that that needed much it just needed a little bit little bit of tinkering here and there and and um that was where ever was required of me was to uh to come in play a fourth line role be physical um Bank bodies get out on the for check and change momentum that way and and I tried to do that and um you know I know I don’t have a lot of uh a lot of time left and and I wanted to uh to make a Mark and I feel like I came in and did that in and out of the lineup here down the stretch what did it mean to you knowing that you are going to be playing game seven of the Stanley Cup Final yeah I it meant everything you know I I said it earlier today that um you know when I was his age I was you know dreaming of playing game seven I was in the driveway and on my rollerblades and scoring goals I was in I was in game seven and and how cool that he gets to go to one and watch me play in it so something that I’ll never forget and um hope my kids and family won’t either this isn’t much of a question but I just want to let you know we don’t really have a dog in the fight and we have a lot of conversations of what ifs happen throughout the playoffs spe specifically in this series and your name came up quite a bit of people Roo for you wouldn’t it be nice to see Kap poso Hoist the Stanley Cup and it’s it’s a great sight to see we love players that dedicate their lives to it and stick with it through hard times too so congratulations thank you very much I appreciate it congrats thank you
