Wings fan here. You guys will like him. He's a serviceable #2-3 D. At times in the last few years, he seemed like our best defenseman. I didn't think his contract was worth dumping like this. I'm surprised, but obviously Yzerman isn't done moving cap to make – what I'm assuming – is about to be a big signing.
