  1. Forcing a game 7 and playing in it is still a huge acomplishment and if the can make it this far hopefully they can get the gold in 2025!

  2. I remember Uwe Krupp putting the puck in the net in Game 7, 3rd overtime of the Stanley Cup Final in 1996. Colorado Avs beat the Panthers, both teams in their first cup final. Game tickets that year were $5 for upper level at McNichols Arena.

  3. Even though my team lost, this was one of the best Stanley Cup finals I have ever watched. It was a fantastic season.

  4. As an oilers fan I take zero pride in losing. To be proud of a loss is to stay a loser forever. I’m bullshit we lost and will be until we finally win. If I take pride and be proud of a lose we will always be losers and I’d rather die than be a loser.

  5. It was obvious from the start that the Panthers played a much better game than the oilers did , it still could have gone either way but the intensity of the Panthers was clearly higher especially in the first two periods .

  6. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat , that's sports . There's a hell of a lot more of the latter for the overwhelming majority of sports fans but we still always come back in the end.

  7. For sure, respect to the Oilers and their fans. Stings like a mother-f'er for them right now, but no reason for shame. What a series.

  8. If the Canucks were in the place of Edmonton, boeser, demko, and pettersson possibly coming out of his slump, it would be interesting to see how a Canucks vs panthers finals catchup would've been

  9. I just want the panthers to admit how nervous they were that oilers pushed a game 7 lol, proud of the oilers for the push back

  10. They didn’t play like they did the last 3 games. Mcdavid, drai, Hyman, nuge –
Biggest game of your life and no points.
Evan Bouchard standing behind the net picking his nose when we needed one last rush.

Yeah it was awesome to come back to a game 7 and yes they had a great season after our horrible start but what a complete anti climatic final

  11. Man it could have gone either way with the two dingers off the Panthers goal posts and the one off of the crossbar showed the hockey gods were not on the Oilers side. The Leon one timer at about the 3rd period 5:00 to go mark that missed the open side by 2 to 3 inches was the final kick in the groin by those hockey gods to the Oilers and their fans. It was a good season for Edmonton to be picked as sixth overall at the start of the season then drop to 31 st in the standings by November. A lot of na sayers were writing the Oilers off at that point. A great come back season and very exciting playoffs. Thanks guys it was a good year overall.

  12. Now that the salary cap is finally where it should have been 3 years ago, my favorite team will bring the cup back to Canada.

And my favorite team is Canada's Team.
