I remember listening to Craig interviewing with Sheng Peng and he said that he didn't see any real difference between Silayev and Emery. He's also been raving about Parascak since the draft lottery, so I'm not surprised to see him up there.

I really like Craig Button. I'm not on the same page as Craig is but this is a rankings and not a mock so the picks may really be different than this list is. This is going to be a really fun draft to watch. Cheers from Ottawa🍁

Just because he isn’t a N. 1 overall pick like people thought he would be, doesn’t mean he can still be an effective point producer. Though for me personally he won’t go N. 5.
Riley Heidt imo inflated Parascak's numbers this year from what I could tell. Heidt could've been a late 1st but fell to the late 2nd. Lots of scouts who have watched Parascak a lot suggest he's early 2nd quality.

Berkley Catton dropping to the Sharks at 14 would be insane. A top line of Celebrini, Smith, and Catton would be fun. Three skilled forwards with high IQ.
How do you think the Boston Ottawa trade will change the draft and who will Boston take at 7?

Connelly is ranked so low there because of off ice issues (swastika stuff) but skill wise he's easily top 12
How mush of Tijs 3 rd ranking, by Button, all about the great year he is having? Could there be recency bias here? Or is he the real deal?
I mean every year there are 1st rounders that barely or don't even end up making the league so he could be as right or as wrong as anybody. I agree though that this draft is wide open and has the potential to end up being pretty wild. Hope we see some trades and some craziness.
I been saying lgnila will be the second best forward and the Hawks should trade up. Demetov gets injured to much. Levshunov is a boring project.

I find myself disagreeing with his takes every year, and it surprises me how many of his hot takes hit. Feels like he gets pretty close to what really happens at the draft too sometimes.
