Going around the league they discuss all the recent trades that have gone on this week including Jacob Markstrom headed to the Devils (8:00), the Capitals acquiring Pierre-Luc Dubois from the Kings for Darcy Kuemper (9:15), and Ty Dellandrea going from Dallas to San Jose (13:32). Sticking with the Sharks Riles and Nasty talk about Barclay Goodrow being claimed off waivers from the Rangers. Some other news around the league they cover includes the Canucks re-signing Filip Hronek and Mark Friedman (15:59), Eric Tulsky getting the full time General Manager job with the Carolina Hurricanes (19:50), analytics in hockey, Kyle MacLean’s extension with the Islanders (27:15), the Columbus Blue Jackets firing Pascal Vincent and Patrik Laine wanting out (27:33), and possibly Mitch Marner getting an extension in Toronto (30:06).
The knuckleheads jump over to talk about the Stanley Cup Finals (36:41) between the Panthers and Oilers, Connor McDavid taking his game to an even higher level, and give their predictions. To end the show, Riley and Derek answer fan submitted questions.
