And Marner is an emotional young man. I really don’t think her last 20 games this season in a Leaf Uni. In the end he will want out.
It’s a very very hard market to play in. One of the toughest. If you’re good. The fans will treat you like gold. If you aren’t good. They can turn on you in a millisecond.
Not saying Marner isn’t good. He’s one of the best play makers in the League and his numbers prove that.
Me thinks it’ll get done after July 1. When he gets his 7 mill. Then that’s when more teams should line up to kick the tires. I do realize he had that NMC. He does control his destiny and he has earned that right. But he should look from outside the box. It can and will get very messy. It’s sad really. I always thought it would be Nylander going but it’s Marner. My fav player in this era.

Devils are going to be a force to be reckoned with if they can land Pesce in addition to already getting Markstrom. Marner to Utah… hmm… owner would like to make a big splash with a flashy skilled player, so it's possible. The Mammoth have a lot of cap space, owner has deep pockets, and lots of good picks and prospects to offer. Would Marner want to go to Utah? For him, it's all about cash, nothing else, so if it's there in mass quantity, he'll go to Siberia if necessary.
