I'm a Rangers fan obviously was a bit distraught when they took us out but can't help but smile to see Maurice get his championship. Seems like a great Coach to play for and knowing he has been chasing the Cup for 26 years, to see him finally get it is what makes this story a great one.
LEGEND!!!!!

Paul Maurice is the reason I'm happy about this. As a Devils fan, I do not enjoy the Panthers. Not that we're even close right now, but still very annoying! But Maurice is class and deserves it. Also, sorry Canada. Hopefully soon! Just not vs the Devils. Thank you.
THAT was a good interview.
Always admired this guy as a coach and knew he'd win it one day soon! Congrats to him and the team! What a show! Edmonton is a championship team and they'll be back next year for a rematch I predict! It'll be a hell of a series just as thrilling as this one!
The Oilers looked broken after that game, especially Hyman.
As a Canes fan I am so happy to see this. When he was coach of our team the previous ownership, I felt was stifling his potential success by not spending to the cap. Now we finally get to see what he is capable of doing. Well deserved!
He's not even a good coach, he just had a stacked team
I was a kid in East Hartford when he coached the Whale. It's wild to see him almost 30 years later hoisting the cup with Florida. I wanted to cheer against them, as a bigger fan of every team they played against, but he and the Panthers gained my respect with all the hustle that won them the Cup.
Congratulations to Paul Maurice and the Florida Panthers from an Isles fan.
I remember him as the head coach of the Maple Leafs and even though he had a successful first regular season, the Leafs ended up missing the playoffs by 1 point. Then the second year, the Leafs dropped the ball, and he got fired. I always wondered what he could have done with Matthews, Marner, and Nylander if the Leafs hired him back. However, I always respected the work he did with Toronto and how close he got with Winnipeg as well as Florida the year before. I'm happy he's got his Cup and soon, his name on it.
Love Paul Maurice, Class act, so we'll spoken. Congratulations!!!!!! So we'll deserved.
Ontario!!!!!!, Winnipeg, CANADA 🇨🇦
2 Stanley cups in a row after a team got the presidents trophy and revamped to a more defensive team. Incredible coach and incredibly smart front office moves. I’d run through a wall for that guy.
As an Oiler fan, Paul just took a TON of the sting out. Thank you for being such an epic example of a good winner. BRAVO!!
So happy for this man. He would have been devastated had he lost so more than anything I’m relieved for him. He needed this cup more than anyone on both teams
What a stand up guy
Good for him
Bolts fan- I hate to say it but well done, well deserved. I would follow Maurice- they don’t get there without him, for as tough they act to be in the past, they would get distracted by the all after whistle stuff and do something dumb but he kept them focused on the hockey while stuff being physical.
I would double check the Barry Trotz stat. He coached Washington on their cup win against Las Vegas.
Made my eyes well up when he said to his Pops that his name was going up with his idols.
We never win the cup without Maurice. It’s that simple.
