I think I'd be more interested in what Anders Lee's buyout would look like. The problem with trading just about any player these days is the no movement clauses and limited amount of teams they can be traded to. It really ties the hands of the GM's.
On a happier note, McLean's signing is great. Min salary for 3 years and he is more than capable of leading the 4th line C, which is making Pageau expendable. $5m out and $775K in. That's good math. Cizikas takes the third line is no drop off at all between Pageau and Cizikas. McLean with Engvall and Fasching is an upgrade over the aging best 4th line in hockey.
