For me this season is a wash, I can't see how they're going to move off of the core4 without taking some brutal trades and that means running it back again….. with a lot less money. BUT, if they are gonna try they NEED A GOALIE, my god get that fixed, Woll is too sketchy for me.

Leafs should have traded Marner for top RH Defense and or good goalie. But Leafs are going to be mid at best for defense again

They don’t need to do anything about the core 4. I don’t understand why people think this is an issue. Tavares has 1 season left. 11 million gone. You don’t have to resign him. You trade one of the young players it’s a core 2. Good luck winning with two star forwards. Marner has more to give especially with a far better coach. Star players are hard to get you don’t trade them unless you WIN the trade. You want to see what losing the trade looks like? Think Kadri trade. Or just look at all the other times star players are traded for lesser talent. Like the history of the Leafs. People forget this or aren’t fans for long enough if they don’t know their history.
