I did my duty on the viewing rights by teaming up with some friends to put in a Human Rights violation for the Punjabi HNIC not being able to be streamed on Omni.
That opening sequence flick was too good
When it came to the story Finals, I did really wanted Edmonton to win, but in Panthers there are so many Finnish players and coaches that I wanted them to have you too.
And I love d Maurice's emotional interview where he said he's waited 26yrs to call from ice once he had won the Cup as a coach.
Steve is bang on about it being a tough road for the oilers to get back to the finals. A LOT of things went perfectly right for them to be there this year. The stars completely aligned. All it took was 3 guys shattering individual nhl records, the team shattering the PK record, and depth scoring that cannot be reasonably relied upon.
If you think Drai scoring a few more goals in the finals is enough to replace everything else that went right so they can repeat this finals appearance, you’re in for a rude awakening.
Steve is so lost on the Ullmark trade. How is this a not a home run deal for the Sens? Retaining 25% of Korpi is less than what the buyout penalty was going to be.
Sabers fan here🥲
Draisaitl to detroit. im calling it. Yzerman is going for it
Dome Productions babyyyyyy
Being a Sabres fan is pain but at least we've won a cup collectively if you add up all the ex-Sabres
Rutger just another spoiled American who thinks he deserves everything without proving nothing at the pro level
1:27:02 that’s literally what happened to the San Antonio Rampage ;-;
ESPN fucked it up because ESPN has always tried to do fail camera angles for hockey. “What if we showed you and insanely dizzying camera angle for the power play that makes it impossible to watch” instead of just showing you the regular angle during the play and then saving the weird ones for replays. I love watching ESPN screw the pooch over and over again.
As a former Buffalonian who did not move to Florida but know a ton of people who have, I find it incredibly hilarious how strong the Buffalo to Florida pipeline is in hockey. Good on those guys for escaping that dumpster fire and winning the cup.
Side note: I really like Steve’s Pallet Town shirt, been on a pokémon kick lately myself.
I really thought Edmonton were gonna go upstairs for the reinhart goal… I think it was barkov but whoever was on that LW side looked over the blue line early… but not even the broadcast did a replay lol
The Sabres are the Oakland Athletics of the NHL
Lost me at the mario cart stream…✌️
Niko mikkola got cream pied by the cup 😂😂😂
you guys realize Reno is nowhere near Henderson, right?
Not only did JSG win the Cup in 2007 with the Ducks, he won it with Scott Neidermayer, who caused the sad photo in 2003. LGD
I dont think the oil repeat this, they're losing a lot of players this offseason and some raises coming soon. If they fail next year it gonna be super difficult. They have one more year to do it.
Nurse contract is the only problem to me. If they can find a way to unload 2/3 or so of that, I am very optimistic about the future of the team. Campbell is moveable or can be affordably be bought out. But Nurse needs to go. Can’t pay someone that is a 2nd line d man that much. A team like Chicago that could use leaders and he would be a top d man for makes sense. All I really want is the cap space. Then build around Bouch and make a more affordable d core. And try and keep the depth forwards that played well in this system.
That final period was painful. Panthers played like they were capable of for the first 2 periods but were on their heels in the third. And we had multiple looks at wide open nets that just couldn’t get in the net. And the final 2 minutes they were so exhausted they couldn’t get anything going. Florida is a fantastic team and certainly deserves the cup for how they played. But I will always view this as the Oilers played better for at least 4.5 games out of the 7 and it didn’t work out for them. Bob stealing game 1 was huge for the Panthers. Because they were only really the better team for game 2, half of game 3, and I’d say game 7 (though it was close).
Ullmark won’t be nearly as good on the sens
I vehemently disagree with the comments on Knoblauch pulling Skinner. Hindsight is 20/20 and it's easy to say he should have pulled the goalie earlier on a faceoff, knowing the result…. But if he pulls the goalie with 3 minutes left and Florida ices the puck and scores, not a single person on earth would be honest enough to say they agreed with the call to pull the goalie so early. Especially with the Oilers top line being exhausted, it was far less likely they would recover the puck on the faceoff and take possession than on a 2nd period faceoff.
As a Ducks fan, Corey Perry is my favorite active player. I keep rooting for him to win the finals but making it there 4 times in 5 years with 4 different teams shows me just how amazing a player he is… now if only Toronto had returned his call before Perry signed in Montréal.
Draisitel and Campbell for marner! Thoughts ? 😂
These absolute losers: HAHA BAD TEAMS BAD
Meanwhile, their joke of a franchise: 1st round exit, 1st round exit, 1st round exit, missed playoffs, 1st round exit, 1st round exit, won one game in the 2nd round, 1st round exit
Adam's choice to start the draft predictions at 5 is the most Adam thing of all time lol. So dumb.
Oh Canada, Gary haunts your dreams… Bettman 31 Canada 0
