  1. Lol CHI will take anyone and offer them stupid contracts!
This is such a dumb move for CHI, why do they just waste money instead of actually getting good players?

  2. so basically traded down a little in the draft to get this guy out, amazing deal canucks

compare this to what yzerman just did to move out walman, yzerman is so washed lol

  3. What if Mikheyev picks up and finds his game again and plays as he did as good back in Toronto and he's with Jason Dickinson that's a double edge whammy lose/lose but it is also a win since Mikheyev didn't live up to his contract here.

  4. Why would any UFA sign in van if they give up on you after signing you to a multi-year deal w/ MTC and then ask to trade you a year later..
It will put a premium on UFA signings as the org as no loyalty.
Why would Mikheyev want to move from a contender to a team that will struggle on the bottom for a bunch of years?

  5. Im sorry good to get rid of Ilya BUT a second as well for a 4th in 27? really not good IMO a young underperformer with the 4th woulda been better. Lafferty don't matter they werent resigning him anyways.but getting fleeced

  6. At least Allvin is admitting to his mistake and making a move to fix it. I notice that’s a trend this off season. lol I hope he knows what he needs now and gets some good pieces.

  7. Excelent, now we sign another winger/guntzel then we trade him with our 1st when we ralize guy doesnt play d wont fit our system
How many 2nd and 3rds we traded away last few years is beyond me… These holes will be evident in no time

  8. That's such a good point. The fact this has hit the media will leverage him to accept. The fans know, and it would not be fun for him if he stayed.

  9. That's potentially good news, Legoman. I imagine that since Agent Dan Milstein is trying to facilitate a trade for his client, he'd better freaking take the offer! That's almost $5 million off the books.

  10. Now lets go after Necas he's younger and faster… and sorry to say but its time to trade Brock while he's still doin awesome, cause too many scary things goin in his life… He would be happy in Minnesota thats where he's from…

  11. Amazing trade. Finally some management we can trust. This guy needed to go. I might be wrong but i believe mikeyev was a benning signing. This guys wasnt worth what he was getting even at the start of it. Canuck fans should be excited to see what happens in the coming week.

  12. A big L for Steve in Detroit. Ilya had a considerably worse season than Walman. Chicago is taking on more money and probably getting the worse 2nd round pick when you compare the trades. Patrik did a great job putting this trade together.
