  1. Let me know your thoughts on this trade…will Canucks be more likely to sign Guentzel now? We've also just leanred that Vancouver retained 15% on Mikeyev

  2. KD just tipped his hand, Demidov will be the Blackhawks pick at #2 on friday. With a couple more years on Mikeyev contract, Mikeyev will help his transition when he comes over in 2025.

  3. This is tidy business by Canuck management. Nothing retained on a guy that was really gonna sting their cap situation for two years. Bravo.

  4. This is a beautiful move by Allvin. Two contracts off the books for a round pick 3 years from now. That's tidy work.

  5. I trust this management and coaching group. It didn't take long for positive results from their plan. Let's enjoy the ride for a while, and I hope that they have a long shelf life because we all know that eventually and inevitably they will be fired when the players don't want to buy into the system anymore, once it gets stale and the other teams also figure out our system

  6. Great Video, as usual, Mike. I am so glad to see Lafferty on his way back, along with such A Great Player like Mikeyev, to The Chicago Blackhawks. This is A Huge Chicago Move & it's showing that Chicago wants to put talent around Connor Bedard. Let me know what you think

  7. Well, now the Hawks have to come up with another 7 million to reach the cap floor. Seriously though, a win win for both teams. Hawks need to spend, and the Canucks need to clear. And, if Ilya finds his game, it'll be a boon for the Hawks along with the second rounder. Another thing to consider is that the pick is in 2027 in and around the time the Hawks figure to be getting good. So they can use it in a possible trade package.
