I'm so proud of you Drew!! TME for life⚒⚒💜💜
Bravo Drew
Ran like a champ! You did an amazing job and you’ve got a promising future in the 10k
big things to come in the 5000
So close. Very impressive for a miler/5K guy. I guess you’re the alternate. Stay ready just in case you’re needed or get that call last minute or if one of the top 3 decides not to double. If you hop in a fast Diamond League event there’s little doubt you can grab the standard. Small suggestion to USATF: Hold the 10000 either in the a.m. or later in the evening. Water table was a partial consolation.
Impressive race, and interview.
Is this the same Drew Hunter that came from behind in the Penn relays years ago?
good job, inspiring race
Drew looking like Pookie.
It’s amazing that he can run as fast as he does, his form is the worst I’ve ever seen for a national class runner.
Inshallah this man makes the 5k team
The team was selected long before this final. Only 3 men in the field have the Olympic Standard and no one else is even close to the standard this season. The top 3 just had to finish the race to make the team.
Nico Young, a sub par runner, comes out of nowhere and runs 12:52 at ncaa indoor championships——————–>BLOOD DOPING
Nothing made me more emotional than seeing him up there fighting. He overcame his demons. He did it!
"I PR'ed in everything" brings back memories of the 1980's. Way to go Drew, great job fighting through the issues, never giving up. Great race.
That was the highlight of the night for me. I explained to my mom about Drew’s story and she was moved as well.
Some much respect to Drew. Big time rooting for him to get a USA kit one of these years. Same age, so awesome that he was able to get a 4th and legit compete for a medal after all the ups and downs through his career so far. Dude deserves the world.
Great race for Drew-
agree w everything hes said-He should be up there w those guys–same yr class as Grant–same promise coming out of hs. Pulling for him to put it together in next few years.
Drew Hunter is the man. Let's ride.
Legend
Great run. So good to see.
Great run, great interview!
My hero
Drew is so relatable! Rooting for him
Congratulatons Drew Hunter. I saw you got sub 4 in high school with a great kick.
