  1. Michkov will definitely have more Goals and Points over Reinbacher. Habs Are Looking For Goal Scorers…They where banking on 'maybe he will play, perhaps in a few years'….. Wow, A BIG Swing And A Miss Here. Time Will Tell Alright!

  2. Agree- have to wait and see. Depends- will Reinbacher + ? (Whoever they draft Friday) is better pair than Michkov + D they could have drafted this year…

  3. Classic dumb opinion from non experts. Reinbacher was the highest rated D mand in the draft and right handed. Michkov, as good as he might be, is very one dimensional and has 0 backcheck. Not to mention Michkov didn't want to meet certain teams and wanted to play for Phily.

  4. All politics aside, I was not happy when they skipped on Michkov . I can’t say what I would have done but I respect Hughes for making the decision based on the pros and cons. There was a lot of drama surrounding this player and obviously two years later it is frustrating knowing he is coming early , but would he have came early or even at all if it was mtl … hard to say

  5. I enjoyed watching Reinbecher In the AHL, I'm sure he will be great in the NHL. I'm still not sold on Michkov. He might be great but the question is also whether he is a fit for the team. I don't think the habs are built for flashy players. Flyers are built more for that kind of player

  6. I don't think it's necessarily a mistake as of yet especially since there was a lot of noise around Michkov last year and he seemed to have bamboozled everyone to be picked by the Flyers. There's no such noise around Demidov this year and if he's available and we don't pick him that would be a completely insane decision.

  7. It was my understanding that michkov said that he did not want to go to montreal? I could be wrong. II thought I read a article last year where michkov told teams that spoke to if he wanted to go there?

I personally was hoping they would have drafted Lenard last year. However Kent hughes has proven me wrong before, so I have confidence reinbacher will be a solid draft choice.

  8. As much as I wanted Michkov, we can't deny all the red flags with the kid. KHL contract, the very suspicious death of his dad, attitude problems, etc etc.

On the other hand, Reinbacher a puck moving dman, 6'2" right handed, plays both ways. Not a bad pick. To me, he's a mix of Silayev and Levshunov in this year's draft.

Hughes and Gorton didn't make a mistake. Let's face it

  9. 6 teams didn't pick Mitchkov AND Rickenbacker is the perfect line mate for Hudson. Stupid is first to lose faith so after one year Slav will be a plus like Rick.
