The Boston Bruins Are Back In The First Round. Who Could They Pick At The 2024 NHL Draft?

the other news this week Boston Bruins did finally move uh Lena olark it seemed like everybody knew that that would happen but what would they get back and they got back among other things a first round draft pick in this year’s draft the 25th overall pick so the Boston Bruins get a uh a you know they they get out of their goal tending situation which was not going to be long term with Jeremy Swan needing a new contract uh Swan kind of took over the net from olar he’s the younger player it makes all the sense in the World they did get Unis Corpus solo back um with some salary retain by Ottawa which is helpful um they do have Brandon busy in their system I like Brandon busy an awful lot I think that he’s he’s got a chance to be you know a strong number two to swayman there um so we’ll see if if he gets much run depending on what happens with cor pasalo uh but that now now the Bruins are back in the mix so that’ll be one of the reasons why we have a new mock draft is we have a new team in the first round and we’ll certainly hope to uh uh wait wait out some more trades and and and have updates on uh Wednesday or Thursday with a mock draft with whatever Movement we see so if you are a Boston Bruins fan I did want to give you some idea of what players could be available at number 25 uh which is now where the Bruins pick and the Bruins have only had one first round pick in the last four drafts um and so this getting this pick back in a in a draft that I think has some quality to it uh that has a number of different positions that they can address uh is good so the guys that I have kind of circled that I think fit Boston’s profile and also are in going to be potentially going to be there in that range Sasha Bo from the musk Lumberjacks a six foot2 two-way Center uh good scoring ability um just really like what he brings to the table he’s going to the University of North Dakota next year Liam greenre from the Windsor Spitfires uh he’s a big scoring Winger um you know not the best skater but incredibly intelligent with the puck on his stick and and and scored a ton of points for Windsor this season uh some of the defensemen that are available Charlie ell EJ Emory both could potentially be there at number 25 guys with size athleticism Mobility uh really good skaters both uh strong defensively so as you know as as Boston continues to build up a prospect pool that’s a little bit on the shallow side um you know those are some of the guys that will be available

The Boston Bruins have a first-round pick for just the second time in the last five drafts. Chris Peters breaks down some of their best options for the No. 25 pick on the latest Talking Hockey Sense.
