The Florida Panthers have just won their franchise’s first Stanley Cup, after years of being among the top contenders in the league. Florida’s success can be attributed to the excellent work of their management, consistently and constantly adapting to what they felt would work best for them. Florida built one of the league’s best playoff cores, and it was enough to take them all the way to their ultimate goal this season. Today, we look at how Florida built their championship team, and how the players contributed to their success when it mattered most.

  1. They saw what was happening right up the road in Tampa and copied their blueprint almost exactly. Like it or not Florida is the state of hockey now!

  2. Florida did not make it easy on themselves but they got the job done. Nobody can say it wasnt close though. Right down to the wire nothing is closer than a game 7 decided by 1 goal. The two teams put on one of the weirdest and most entertaining series ever!

  3. I feel like Ekblad doesn't get enough credit. He's a player that can fill any position on the ice under any playstyle. He is so versatile for the Panthers and I can't wait to watch how these guys do in 2025.

  4. lowkey kind of expected the video to go in depth into the background of how they built the team though the years by drafting key players like ekblad, hub, barkov etc. who they got though trades and such. the video kind of jumps into them already being good when they were near or at the bottom for a lot of years, it took time for them to become champions.

  5. Lundell up for a pay raise. That third line has been stellar. Best in the league. Don't allow much goals and provides offense

  6. The Panthers have been to the Stanley cup 3 times in there short history, they finally won and we love them in Fort Lauderdale

  7. I clicked on the video because the title interested me, but I couldn't make it past 10 seconds. of your. incredibly. irritating manner. of. speaking.

  8. They made it because of the tax benefits in Florida. Nothing else. Edmonton at 60% tax compared to 20% in Florida is bullsh-t. The NHL has a problem. Either panthers are going to win or the lightening are going to win. Lame…

  9. they took the gamble all the way back in 2019 with signing Bob for 7 years and 70 million and it paid off

  10. Bro idc about the last 3 years, I thought this was going to be like a 7 or 8 year highlight of the timeline, draft picks, tough decisions, and more. I can remember the last 3 years, I don't need this bozo to remind me. Go farther back and do more analysis in these videos

  11. Greatest NHL final in resent times even though I might be alittle biased.

Just some feed back on the video.
Don't be afraid to use your voice. It felt like you read it off bit too much off the script. Just by showing a little more enthusiasm and your personality while reading the script gives the commentary more "life", and makes it way more enjoyable to listen to. It's easier to get excited and invested in the video when the commentator sounds more iterested in whatever he's reading.

  12. They couldn't of done it without Bettman 🤔 NHL betting sit showed Oilers as favorite to win the cup. No way Bettman was going to pay that out ,so the Panthers should be thanking Bettman and his mafia referee's first and foremost.

  13. The Panthers 2 best players, star goalie and top pair d-men dont have an ounce of ego between them, add that to the ridiculous talent and work ethic they have and you've got a rock solid foundation. Full buy in from everyone on the team is what sets them apart, every guy on that roster would go through hell and back for the rest of their teammates.
