As Frank Seravalli said in his recent report the New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba could possibly have positive value in a trade that could happen as soon as July 1st when his full no-movement clause drops down to a 15-team no-trade list. The report also said Ryan Lindgren and the Rangers could be somewhat close to a potential deal already.

Hope the Trouba train is leaving the station soon. It might be a genius move by the team making him captain. Having the captain tag makes his value seem higher than it is. We have a history of boosting value of our captains, and trading them away.
I'm legit throwing a Trouba trade party if this happens.

While I hope this report is true. I highly doubt it, Trouba has basically zero value as a defensemen in the league. So I'd take a 3rd or 4th round pick and a mid level defensive prospect for Trouba at this point. The best bet to trade him would be part of a packaged deal that could involve Kakko or Jones.
Sign Zadorov ….. he’s the best of Trouba and lindgren combined. Let Jones play. Save $ to sign a legit RW.
I love lindgren but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to sign him for any more than 2-3 years considering the wear and tear he has on his body. Even though he’s young he’s had a lot of injury’s and I whether he would be healthy for that long of a contract is definitely something to consider.

Rumors & speculation. Moving Trouba won’t be easy. Granted, two seasons left on his contract. But his NMC’s. July 1st., a 15 team no movement? I’m real curious, who are these 15 teams Trouba refuses to play for. If Chris Drury can move him. I’ll be surprised.
