  1. People are to F…n stupid and wrong to not know how great this move will impact our team when they see the move yzerman does on clearing a lot of cap space with the walman trade ,The yzerman haters never know what they’re talking about fck the yzerman haters

  2. There was something going on that he was benched for the last 10 games or so …I didn't understand it while I watching those games becusee we were in the playoff hunt but something personal was going on between walman and yzerman

  3. Just guessing here, could it be that we will be trading up to SJ 11th in this years draft?
Even better if they also exchange with us the 33rd pick.

  4. 3-way deal with Detroit, San Jose takes part of the cap. That’s the future consideration.

  5. Bottom line: Red Wings just need to make playoffs to eliminate doubt in Yzerplan. Good Luck in coming season: Red Wings!!

  6. im going to call it now buffalo didnt want to trade down with the wings san jose facilitated the trade. detroits trading up to 11

  7. Clearing space for Jake Guentzel. Jake's from Omaha, and grew up as a Red Wings fan.

  8. Yzerman is 8 steps ahead of all of us. Let the man cook and never get emotionally attacked to players on the Wings.

  9. Big trade and San Jose is needed to retain salary. The future considerations are them retaining salary for someone the wings ultimately get but goes through San Jose first for a bit of salary retention.

  10. So sick of hearing people cry about someone who was a minus 12 in the last 10 games he played you all wanna make the playoffs or watch a average player with some good offensive moments dance. I think it was probably a first for holl or petry.

  11. Utah has ONE defenseman signed.. and he's an AHL fill-in. I suppose Walman likely had AZ on his mod no-trade, but I'm not sure if that applies, since Utah didn't get to keep the Coyotes branding or history. If not, Utah has NO defenseman, all of the cap space in the world, and enough draft picks to take them into 2030. Walman would instantly be a top pair there, so Yzerman couldn't get anything for Walman? Also knowing SJ would've picked him up for free, has to mean something else is cooking. Plus, there's a new rule against "future considerations" that it can't be nothing. Those trades need to be approved beforehand, and something has to be thrown in within a specified time, without special exception, so something is in the mix there. It only doesn't make sense – until it makes sense, I guess..

  12. That 2nd should have been used to unload Maatta, Holl, or Petry. This Walman trade is just a miss unless he comes up with something absolutely brilliant.

  13. It's becoming more clear why the wing's have not made the playoffs the last 5 years yzerman has been here with poor decisions like this and not really drafting well..he needs to take notes from Brad Holmes

  14. So what exactly is the “Yzerplan”? To stay out of the playoffs? If so, at least he and Chris Illitch are on the same page.

  15. I still not gett it. I mean Wallman why. Bin better to get rith of holl. But moste likely it could be. Stamkos or gumtzel maby saaros

  16. Petry isn't tradeable, Holl may be tradeable, and there's no guarantee Ghost is going to resign. So losing Ghost and trading Walman opens up 2 spots on defense. Edvinsson and Johansson should take those 2 spots. Seider will be the on the first PP unit next year. He's earned that and deserves it. So now our defense is based on Seider, Edvinsson, Johansson, Petry, Maatta, and Chiarot, with Holl a healthy scratch. Also I hear that Yzerman is still in talks with Kane, and he wants double of what he was paid last year, which means $5.5 million minimum. I think he may go after Stamkos or Guentzel. Let's see what happens tonight if he pulls off a trade during the draft. You never know what he has up his sleeve.

  17. I hope Yzerman got rid of Walman for doing that stupid dance whenever he scored. He was an embarrassment to the organization.
