I like the player, but I cannot believe they passed on Eiserman. I think MBN is a more complete hockey player and is likely to be an NHL player sooner, but at some point this front office needs to take a swing on a boom-or-bust player with high offensive talent.

Another safe pick by Stevie, he should be another NHL player within a couple of years. It looks like most of Yzerman's round one picks will have a good shot at playing in the NHL. Looking at the last ten years of Holland's round 1 picks, only Larkin, Ras and Veleno are still with us and Mantha should still play next year somewhere?. Not sure if Zadina will play in the NHL again? I think the Red Wings future is looking good. Still wish we could get a high scoring winger. Maybe Stamkos will sign?
