  1. Everyone called drai’s contract an overpayment at the beginning you guys have memories of a donkey

  2. If he wants to sign he will
Mcdavid and Leon will get what they want
He knows how it’ll affect the teams chances.
If he doesn’t sign we play it out and hope we win next year.

  3. Draisaitl has already said he's staying. He knows what the Oilers budget is. Both McDavid and Drai are looking to leave a legacy and you don't do that by jumping around from team to team. You're just talking to talk.

  4. Steve said the oilers got good performance out of depth. That’s what it takes. It’s never the superstars. It’s always a battle of the guys punching way above their salary. Like floridas d. Verheage rodrigues. Cups are won by depth.

  5. Repeating in the west is so much harder then the east.

The depth in the west is insane.

Teams that everyone talks about as being great in the east on paper are not good teams.

See Boston they are a contender in that conference and are looking to sign the 3rd line center from a west team that didn’t make it out of round 2 to be their top guy.

  6. He'll leave if he was smart. Canadastan is a horrid place to play and live. Why would you want to stay? There's tons more negatives in staying than leaving for the states.

  7. I like him he’s a good player. I hope he signs the contract I hope he stays. If he gets traded then who’s next it won’t be Connor his is until 2026 he likes playing for Edmonton. If Leon does get traded which we don’t know if he does or not but if he does it will be like it was after Gretzky got traded then Messier and the others. Let’s all just not make any predictions let’s all just wait until next year in June. No one knows only he knows what he wants to do who to play for.

  8. An absolute must have is a goalie that can win a game when the team is not playing well. Most Stanley Cup teams have that level of goalie.

Oilers Have not Invested in that the entire time we’ve had McDavid.

Elite gives you a chance to win. Fluery blocked the trade. Ullmark supposedly blocked a trade. Talked about Bennington and even price. But could not fit the salaries in.

Any of these goalies on the roster and Oilers beat Florida.

  9. You guys have no idea what ur talking about. Oil aren’t the leafs, their players want to win the cup and will do whatever it takes to get there again. I bet draisaitl takes a team friendly deal and I bet mcdavid does too. This isn’t matthew’s and nylander where the goal is to make as much money as possible and focus on self achievements.

  10. Oilers are cooked. They’re never getting back to the finals. Their cap situation between McDavid and drai The two highest paid forward in the entire league is going to give them no depth, which is what crush him in the cup this year

  11. he should take a home town discount . he could easily make extra mils from sponsoships and commercials

  12. You can tell Steve "Dangle" Glynn is entertaining the idea of Drai having played his last game as an Oiler because he wishes to Buddha that Draisatl signs with the Leafs. Not happening, he'll be an Oiler for quite awhile longer.😊

  13. hmmm he is gone ..Boston looks very good ….who wants to play under an Edmonton fan microscope …..even more so now ….

  14. Drai makes $13.5-14mil/season on his next extension. Oilers can't replace someone like this. Also, the Oilers don't have enough first rounders to move Campbell and Nurse…

  15. Draisatl, Nurse and a 1st end pick for Dahlin and Lukkonen. Use the cap difference to sign Guentzel. And Montour. Oh look goalie, Dmen and heart upfront. Also lotsa cash to sign Mcjesus next year,

  16. Why would McNugget and Drai want to stay in such a dumpy city like Edmonton? Next to Winnipeg, Edmonton is the biggest dump in the league to play. Buffalo and Minnesota are probably 3rd and 4th.
