I saw Danford play quite a few times in Oshawa this year. If he's allowed to grow properly, he is gonna be a beast.

It's bit us many times before trading down. But I have faith in Wes. Personally I think there's a significant drop in talent this year and would've taken the pick at 23 and taken the Norwegian or Emery.

I can’t believe you guys aren’t bitching about getting Defense who can transition better.
If you listened to any betting podcast through the season. That was the one knock on betting Maple Leafs. The Defense can’t get the puck up to the forwards for fast breaks etc.. Imagine trading to 7 and getting Buium.. That would have been a home run. Best transition D, in class.

My coworkers son plays for the Oshawa Generals and i have a bit of insight into Danfords bump in production in the playoffs.Generals number 1 defenseman Connor Punnett got injured and Danford jumped in to take over number one minutes for Punnett on the powerplay in the playoffs.
