New York Rangers come out with an A-grade selection in the 1st round of the 2024 NHL draft taking EJ Emery with the 30th overall pick. He is a very talented defensive defensemen who is an extremely good athlete and skater. EJ has a high upside and could possibly be a true top 4 caliber defensemen in the NHL one day for the Rangers.

Pick 30 truly a coin flip but sometimes you find gems and when you do alot of times it is defense so a good pick for the position 30.
Solid pick. Rangers need all the defensive help they can get at this point. Strong skater and plays more of a defensive game, then offensive. Kid isn't going to score or put up a ton of points but I'm fine with that. Plus he's 6"3 Rangers really needed more size on defense.
Never let the screen go black; its highlights, cutting to the next play isn't a jump cut
He has top 4 potential. I don't think that he has star potential. If bekommst a top 4 defender for our Rangers i'm happy.

Great skating D who can actually play defense. Perfect! Playing great D in the D-zone is what wins Cups, especially with a goalie like Igor.
