This Is How Half This Fanbase Looked Last Night

Yeah, injury histories are worrisome. But, can’t we just enjoy the idea that this 18 year old prospect will mature, grow and become good?

If you win the lottery, the first thing you think shouldn’t be “I’m gonna have to pay so much in taxes.”

ngl, might be my first thought on a lottery win lmao

“damn, the government just won 65% of the lottery”

    Sustainably winning is fun.

Watching a top pick with known injury issues hit the IR regularly, decimating our so-called “center depth” now, won’t be fun. We’ll see where we end up.

I hurt my knee in high school. It’s better now. Hopefully he learns from me.

It’s been hard to have an objective discussion in the CBJ-verse over the last 24 hours. I made what I thought was a positive comment about the return we received in the Texier trade and was lambasted as if I’d just wished the franchise another 20+ years of suffering. Seems you can’t win these days.

I hope this kid works out, I really do. Does anyone else follow Byron Bader on Twitter/X? The draft guy, he’s got a projection system that he uses for prospects, really interesting stuff. I’d kind of gotten my hopes up that we’d take Demidov if he didn’t go 2nd, especially after his showing at the combine, this is Baders prediction for him – [https://x.com/ByronMBader/status/1806837307728961938](https://x.com/ByronMBader/status/1806837307728961938)

Here is how his model looks at Lindstrom, it’s interesting because as he says, are we going to get a Jason Arnott or a Logan Brown? Players with this profile have an uncomfortably(in my opinion) wide range of potential outcomes – [https://x.com/ByronMBader/status/1806836076188975554](https://x.com/ByronMBader/status/1806836076188975554)
