Whenever you feel iffy about your team going "off board" on a draft pick just remember that there has never, in the history of any sports league, been a Draft that would be redrafted in the exact same order 5 years down the road.
That is why we call them DEFENSE MEN they defend and the Leafs were poor defensively on the back end so yes a right shot D man work hoarse is just what is needed

With the nutritionist and strength coaches the leafs have, they should be able to get him to gain weight, assuming his lack of weight gain isn’t due to anything like an unusually high metabolism. 🤷

I can't imagine Treliving making the deal for Tanev without knowing signing him was a foregone conclusion. Imagine if they don't sign him? Eeeeeesh. While I don't think Treliving is risk averse, I don't see him throwing the dice like that.

If a team offer sheets Lilly or Robertson for $1.51M, so there is zero compensation and more than their qualifying offers, do the Leafs match?
