you know Buffalo yeah um obviously the combine was in Buffalo um they’ve got some really good players uh Dylan cousins Tage Thompson uh Zack Benson some really good young guys so uh really excited to be a part of this organization what are you feeling right now exed explain it yeah for sure I mean this is a kind of a dream growing up as a kid and uh for it to come real super special for me and my family so uh just kind of soaking it all in how would you describe your approach as a player yeah I think just taking it day by day um you know trying to put your best foot forward each day and um you know not looking too far ahead yeah I think Tyler tle is uh someone that I like to model my game after uh the way he kind of uses his hockey sense to to play a little bit faster yeah I’d say my hockey sense um you know I’m still trying to become a better skater and um with my hockey sense it allows me to to play a little bit faster F than I really am yeah it’s a really great League um there’s a lot of a lot of high-end talent and it’s really competitive so I mean especially uh you know I was at the program and you know you’re playing against guys two three years older than you it’s it’s really good and um you know it’s it’s really competitive like I said how have you developed your leadership style and I guess how do you kind of model it you know yeah I think for me um I’m a big lead by example guy um but this year I kind of wanted to become more vocal and that’s something I really worked on yeah I think obviously everywhere you can keep getting better but um skating is a big one for me I think that’s going to help me really Excel how have you tried to improve your skating guess yeah just doing skating lessons um spending a lot of time in the gym getting stronger and faster what made you choose Minnesota yeah I’m from Minnesota originally so you know growing up as a kid you watch a lot of those games and you know it’s just another dream for for me so yep great guy um you know that’s another reason why I chose the Gophers they have a great coaching staff um so I’m excited to go there next year how does the program change you just as a young it’s intensive changes what it do for you yeah for sure I mean I gained a bunch of weight um you know I I became more of a man I’d say um and just like I said playing in the USL it’s it’s hard playing up and you know you learn a ton about yourself so than
