Just when I thought I had a grasp on the subject, someone comes along with a completely new angle. Love the challenge!💚
That Sharks fan at the draft was so funny
Habs, Wild, and Islanders got the best value picks in round 1.
As for 2nd day, Sharks, Wild and Flames are absolutely cooking 💯
We picked up the top ranked European goaltender and traded up to get Sam O’Reilley so interesting moves for sure
"Obviously a first overall pick is franchise altering."
shows Nail Yakupov
Sharks and Habs clear winners, leaving the draft with Celibrini and Dickinson is insane. Flyers we're drunk
Did you clone your voice?
Habs getting koivu's son just feels right
I'd have rather Tij gone to any other team tbh. I don't like the prospect of him being shoehorned into a "face of the franchise" position just to capitalize on his name recognition. Half the buzz around him was for the wrong reason (Jerome) and I have a bad feeling that was like 90% of the reason Utah selected him at 6th.
I don't understand how The Generals got as many picks as they did, Oshawa was BITCH SLAPPED by London!
Wasnt too mad at the Yakemchuk pick considering his 2-way prowess and the fact that we desperately need RD.
San Jose fan here. Pretty happy with this draft. Good for Montreal and all the other teams that picked high – it's gonna be nice to see your guys's colors in the playoffs against us eventually.
Zayne Parekh is overrated. Full of injuries, dives all the time, and slashes a ton. Completely overrated
The heartfelt story it's was the drafting of michael hage because he loss is father who was habs fan
What does Celine Dion have anything to do with Hockey, once again, us, the French Canadians found a way to make fools of ourselves. Don’t singers have Grammy Awards to get a presence on a stage?
I knew he was going 3rd called it too
San Jose, Montreal, Calgary and Minnesota are the biggest winners
Hoes mad 😅😅
As a sens fan im incredibly happy with our pick. Size and upside while also filling a positonal need. After already having the 'small offensive defenceman' archtype not really working out with Brannstrom for example its great to get some size and grit on the backend who also has an offensive upside.
I think demidov was exactly what we need I’m so happy with this pick ThAnK YOU 🙏 hockey gods! And I think have was a great pick too
Johnny you missed the biggest headline in Norway and for Norwegian hockey:
Brandsegg-Nygård being the first Norwegian ever drafted in the first round of the NHL draft by the Red Wings, and Stian Solberg being drafted 23rd OV by the Ducks.
This is super hype for the Norwegian hockey scene, as the old guns of Zuccarello, Thoresen, the Olimb brothers all age, a new era of Norwegian hockey is born.
Also there were no Swedes drafted in the first round this year.
Pretty wild draft for Scandinavian countries.
Habs get the Demigod…very nice.
Learning about Hage after Montreal picked him at 21, was very heart warming and inspirational. I believe he will be a very important part of Habs future success…and I wish him great success.
MBN for the Red Wings doesn't feel good
Another Nail Yakipov in Mtrl coffin
It’s up to u but u should do a vid on Micheal hage cause he got drafted by his favourite team growing up and dedicated last season to his dad who passed away in a swimming pool accident
Don't let Demidov go back to Russia … have him play in Jr or in Sweden… Don't let Putin draft him
The Bruins got some Zdeno Chara revival vibes selecting that giant kid Dean Létourneau , also love what the Hurricanes pulled off with those later picks Badinka, Artamonov & Poirier that ain't bad at all
The ducks pick is eithering getting someone fired or a huge pay raise
reviews 1 to 9 ?
i dont see how tij would ever live up to the hype if he went to calgary. i think it is for the best he went elsewhere.
not first round but the avs picking the khl rookie of the year and playoff mvp goalie when they got him seems like an absolute steal to me.
how did no one draft him before now? he has had solid numbers for years.
Hawks almost traded up to 4, Columbus declined once lindstrom didn’t go to the ducks, if the ducks took Lindstrom, the hawks were gonna get levshunov and demidov 😮
If you didn’t remember that Hertl got traded to Vegas. Couture and Vlasic are the two old guys still with the team
Wow hohabsgo
"What are your thoughts?"
Me, an Oilers fan expecting to have to wait until pick #64: I dunno, I never thought we'd make it this far 🤷♀️
Celine Dion is the biggest steal of the draft
I love the stories that came from this draft, but i don''t see this really being an amazing draft as most people think
Are you Francophone? I appreciate the Québécois pronunciation on Celine Dion
Cole Eiserman selected 20th by the islanders. He is the all time scorer for the USA Development Team with 127 goals and he is committed to BU for the 24-25 season and he also is only 17 and turning 18 in August.
Anyone else think cilion is lookin stiff?
if espn says that arizona doesnt exist, doesnt that mean the nordiques never existed?
Nobody's going to mention Aatos Koivu, #70 by Canadiens? His dad Saku was with Canadiens 14 season, and captained ten of them.
