Makes no sense to get rid of Sergachev and Stamkos, Jeanette and then acquire Guentzle. Thought Tampa was rebuilding. Maybe they flip him again?
If Tampa signs him then yeah I think Vancouver will try and grab
Stamkos . There's not much else out there.
Guentzel took a paycheck over a legit shot at a cup. Tampa's cup window is basically closed.

Couldnt Guentzel sign 8 yrs now, since he is technically a part of the team before July 1. Isnt 7 yrs only for free agents, but renewing with your current team is at 8 ? Is this correct?
Last year when Stamer was struggling at the first quarter of the season I had a feeling that his tenure could come to a end in TB.
They had to shake some things up in Big Johns opinion and The Lighting definitely are shaking some things up. Kinda Head Scratching moves in my opinion though
