That’s rough. He just got married. IMO he was a solid depth guy and could potentially be even more complementary to an emerging core.

He can still be signed

My gut feeling says he’ll stay.

Great locker room guy, but on the ice he was terrible more often than not, he had flashes where he looked like an all star but it never lasted more than a few games, I’m not sad to see him go tbh his role is easily filled.

I always liked Jones as he had great speed and was aggressive with the puck but just unfortunately really struggled with his shot.

I wonder if he’d still be a good depth player on a contending team, but we need that space for rookies.

He was not getting enough minutes to showcase his potential. As an agent, you would want him to sign somewhere else for more playing time.

Unfortunately I think he’s gonna be an AHL guy. Great locker room guy, but he just doesn’t have to. Keep in mind, yea, he looked okay on our fourth line, on one of the worst teams in the league. Like honestly, I think he’s either going to end up on a bottom five team, or sign a two way somewhere.
Good dude, just didn’t pan out the way we would have liked.

Anyone else listen to his recent missincurfew podcast appearance? You can tell playing for cronin this year sucked balls and took a toll on the team
