I don’t think it would cost very much to get him since he is saying he won’t sign. They lose so much leverage. A 3rd round pick plus future considerations may be enough. He is a young guy with scoring upside so I think it’s worth it. Plus it gives them slightly more flexibility to move TK or farabee if there is a deal for a 1C /potential 1C.
