  1. As a mailman who plays D in beer league hockey I am willing to sign and play for league minimum to bring the Stanley Cup back to the Leafs….did I mention I also shoot right?!??

  2. Did it ever occur to any of you that maybe it was not just poor coaching but the terrible defense the Leafs have had these past few years as to why the forwards couldn't produce? maybe they were too tired to drive offense after having to defend so hard due to poor defenseman? could it be our defenseman couldn't get pucks to the net in the O'zone? you all seem to forget just how bad the Leafs were defensively and that takes away from offense.. try maybe looking at the big picture instead of just numbers because numbers don't tell the entire story by a long shot… anyone who thinks trading Marner is going to fix the Leafs offense in the Playoffs is a fool.

  3. I think there should be a lot more discussion about who the hell is backing up Woll for when he inevitably goes down. If you think it's bad last year, oh boy, wait until the leafs get mid season without a reliable backup.

  4. The fact that no one else has this story… it’s quite sus. We’ll see how this plays out, but I’m not going to overreact to news none of the top insiders are reporting

  5. Lmao Buddy, look at Boston, swayman wanted 5-6 million now he probably gonna get 7.5-8, because we waited, you guys have no starter, woll is the guy, we have rask money before we even knew he could be the guy, I roast the leafs when I can being a bruins fan, but woll almost stole that series from us if he gets formidable defensive play he’ll be a top 12-15ish goalie which for there contact structure is about as good as you can ask because those guys can elevate to that top 7-8 level if they get hot, leafs aren’t going to crack a top 7-8 goalie there all locked up on roasters. And there mostly all young

  6. And I mean this was there year to beat Boston handedly, now they have nearly 26 million to add 3-4 pieces and resign there all star goalie

  7. I feel the same about the Pettersson contract in Vancouver (though, certainly, a MUCH higher sample size)… But The Canucks just paid him to be the 5TH HIGHEST PAID PLAYER IN THE NHL !?!?!?! In what universe has he proven that he should be that? Only a quantum alternate one, in anyone's opinion (or should be). 1 great season… 2 seasons ago. Vancouver F'ed their salary structure up royally with this… And I don't understand why they think they had to.

  8. Woll will make a great back up. Leafs need a starter if they have a chance at success. Woll cannot be the starter; he'll get injured and unlike teams like the Canucks, there's no goalie prospect.

  9. Stupid question, why the leafs don’t take the rights for c.hart . When he is innocent he can play for a cheap contract
When he is quilty they can terminate his contract

  10. Why does everyone want the leafs to always make players play on a prove it deal then ask them to take team friendly deals?!?!?! You get one or the other. You either get risk and cheaper, or less risk and more money. Stop pretending these guys owe the maple leafs anything.

  11. If he earns it…we're gonna have to pay him 5.5 or 6.5 mill per….this guy's a moron…if he signs at 4 mill and bombs, put him on waivers and burry the contract..problem solved…if he signs at 4 mill a year and stands on his head then we have a goalie that should make 2.5 mill more….it's a win win risk dummy

  12. It's a bit risky but if he plays 40 to 50 games this year and does well, it becomes a very good deal.
