so your approach as a defenseman how have you developed that over the years just being offensive yeah you know I felt like it helped when I was younger I was I was a lot smaller so you know had to figure out ways to uh to you know be a little bit slippier um you know and then I grew a little bit so it helped um definitely being a smaller Guy having to figure out how to play being smaller and then growing a little bit that helped for sure once you started to grow you hit that Roseberg what sort def what defenseman you kind of try to mod your game pick up yeah you know there’s a couple obviously like you know the top guys like Ras Molen is always always a pick but Shawn Walker um he’s just a two-way defenseman um you know skates well um defends well uh so someone like that yeah yeah so I’ve spent some time watching him obviously you got traded uh this season but um you know just his anticipation um the way he defends while skating uh is unbelievable so um I try to pick from you know a lot of guys but that’s somebody uh specific you’re committed to Wisconsin what’s your plan for next season yeah so uh I’m going to go back to Youngstown uh finish my senior year high school and then um after that just uh hopefully go into school and um figure it out from there last cple yeah I guess next step like a little bit of everything but um definitely you know my defensive game you know uh probably has to grow a little bit um I mean I I try to work on like I said everything but um defensively as far as you know stick detail uh being able to defend one-on-one um is definitely something I could work on yeah for sure definitely you know especially next year be a little bit more offensive um I try to be up in the play as much as I can but uh yeah definitely something to work on were your EMS yeah it was it was pretty surreal just you know honored to be uh part of the Buffalo Sabers uh organization just with all their young Talent um all their young defensive Talent it’s it’s surreal still so yeah it was amazing just you know the coaching staff there really helped me out um I loved you know every every one of my teammates and it was just it’s such a great spot to be um you know especially with you know all the resources We Have Skills coaches uh everything so uh yeah just coaching staff there was unbelievable so
