Awesome deal!! Wish it was longer than one year because he’s a fantastic depth piece, but I’m super happy to have him back.

Honestly one of the free agents I wanted us to re-sign most. Dude’s a workhorse!

Super happy to have him back, he fills his role well. Wish we could scrape someone off FA to come into our top 6 but it’s looking a little weak, unless Berggren or Kasper are gonna blow some doors off

  4. Perfect, the exact type of player and contract that should be in the bottom 6

Good energy, can chip in a few goals, relentless forecheck

    Fish is back baby

I like it. Played with heart. Good signing

  6. Wow. Thought he would get more and a little term.

    I like this a lot.

  7. 1st good signing of the day.

Only good signing of the day

Do you people honestly believe we are a better team than we were the last day of the season?

Fisch! Love this guy. Haven’t been this attached to a 4th liner since Luke Glendening.

Fuck yes. We needed to at least keep one locker room guy.

A few great clutch plays last year from a dude you love to cheer for. Let him do all the post game interviews and watch the fan base grow.

Favorite signing of the day, loved the Copp-Ras-Fish line

Everyone hates when I do this but whatever

    Cat Larkin Razor

    ??? Compher Kane

    Ras Copp Fischer

    Fabbri Veleno Berggren

Maybe one of Danielson Kasper or Mazur gets that 2nd line spot? Maybe Berggren moves up and Kasper to 4th line??

There’s absolutely no downside to this. Even if one of the kids steals his roster spot right out from under him, that contract can be buried in the AHL with zero cap impact. Win-win scenario.

I wanted this bad. Now to sign Berger and Tarasenko and consider our offense ready for the season.

  14. Kinda figured Mazur or Kasper would make him expendable. Like the guy just hope this doesn’t interfere with prospects.

  15. Fuck yeah boys we’re gonna be so good next season

Not the biggest fan of fischer but a one year deal at that price you can’t beat I’ll certainly take it

  17. qcpuckhead

Wish it could have been a bit longer deal, but I’ll take it. Dude is a solid grinder.

No complaints about that at all. He’s a replaceable guy but gives his all.

Bottom of the analytics for the team – I never understood what others saw in his play last year because it wasn’t impressive on paper and never passed the eye test (for me) either. Unfortunately, a slot that should be taken by a rookie. His hard effort shifts almost never resulted in anything but a lost puck and opportunity. There were moments, but few and far between 🤷‍♂️

Nice, Fischer was playing above expectations last year

Anybody who drops the F bomb in a live-air interview deserves at least a milly.
