  1. I dare say I like you guys as much as I like the Tsn coverage. Best quality hockey new /content on YouTube thanks for all your hard work.

  2. as a penguins fan the best fact about Jake is that he helped us win 2 cups before he stopped basically eating chipotle every night for dinner.

  3. It's refreshing to be part of a community where ego takes a backseat to the pursuit of truth. It's refreshing.💞

  4. It's a lateral move this year but Guentzel is miles better 5v5. Stamkos has become a PP specialist. And Guentzel will be much better in the later years of the deal.

  5. Stamkos had 40 goals but 19 were on the power play. He will always be a bolts legend, but his decline in play at 5 v 5 has been concerning.

  6. Tampa has proven they can go on deep playoff runs and even win it all without Stammer in the lineup in the past, it hurts to say but I don't think he's quite the key player a lot of people think he is. Hurts to lose him, but TB management clearly doesn't see him as part of the Lightning's long term future.

  7. Stamkos had a good offensive year but he was one of the worst defensive players in the league and we were consistently outscored with him on the ice.

Like Steve said, with players like him the last thing to go is his shot, but the rest of his game has already started to turn.

  8. Steve was right, Guentzel is a massive upgrade over Stamkos. The reason for Stamkos' high production last season was simple: Kucherov. Don't forget Kuch had 144 points and the main beneficiary of that was Stamkos, especially on the PP. Just to highlight how bad Stamkos did at 5v5, he finished the season with a team-worst -21 despite playing mostly with Kucherov (+6).
