I absolutely hate this and everything else we’ve done so far. Drury is atrocious and needs to be fired. He’s screwed us 2 years in a row now, making ZERO effort to improve this team. Piss off.

Clearly Drury thinks he can just stick some forward with Krieder and Zibanejad and we'll win a championship? Giving away Buchnevich was a telling sign of this guy's rational on this matter.
Rangers fans think that every player wants to play for us and that we don’t even try to go after these guys. I bet you every guy you name was looked at. We don’t have the cap to make a big move like stammer for 8m. Zucker doesn’t do it for me. Mantha i like but we probably end up with trouba on the team.
Smith had his 2nd best 5v5 seasons of his career last year. 85% of his assists were first assists. He fits the 2-1-2 to go with Mika/Kreids. To say he is a 3rd lime guy is naive considering the lines ahead of him. Its also a buy low on offensive production. He had a outlier yr with shooting% and finishing rate. Get back to the median and he puts up 60pts or more easily this year.
Disappointed? Absolutely……Surprised?……Absolutely NOT. Drury sucked as a Ranger, sucked at being captain, and sucks at GM. The only thing he's got going for him is that he consistently sucks.
Rangers basically have the same team for a couple years now. Isn't working. They needed to make a big splash somehow

If Arte Moreno didn’t exist, James Dolan would be the worst owner in all of professional sports and I’m saying this as a Ducks and Lakers fan. You guys need to revolt against him ASAP. Start the Sell The Team chants. Don’t be afraid of a bully like Dolan. Call him out and protest! It’s time!
This is the deal Drury usually overpays for and makes at the deadline, not on July 1st. Pure desperation. Seems like the word is out on NY. I don't think anyone who is a serious competitor with options wants to come here right now, especially to play with 2 losers like Mika and Kreider. The rest of the league has taken notice that the leaders of this team do not show up when push comes to shove. How could they not?

Drury has been an embarrassment since day 1 and continues to triple down with the same core and make the same mistakes. He's done nothing but cough up draft pick after draft pick and make one questionable move after another. He's gifted $3.6 mil cap space and tosses it away along with 2 picks for a 33 year old who got it done somewhere else. Sounds about par for the course in Rangerland.
