Makes sense to move on when the organization has a couple of similar, but younger forwards. He really stepped up in the Calder Cup Playoffs, and was a big reason the Monsters almost pulled off the reverse sweep in the Conference Finals. Would have been nice to keep him in state while his sister stars at OSU. I hope he can catch on with a team and carve out a nice career.

Eyy, good for him! That second year is gonna be a hefty pay raise for him.
Gonna miss him with the Monsters but here’s hoping he can use this to carve out a career at the NHL level.
