  1. Floyd beats Sugar ray, hearns, and Duran. Chavez would be a landslide win for Floyd. Corralles, and Castillo were Floyds Hearns, and Duran. Sugar ray gave props to Floyd Sr. But jr. Is way better.

  2. In my opinion The Sun, and its harmful rays, The gene echo that causes so many birth defects, and Good ole Nature it's self will rid this planet of the Caucasian so called race before too many more generations have to tolerate them

  3. I think Floyd beats Chavez, Saddler and Arguello at 130. Best ever at jr lightweight. Hearns, Leonard, Hagler, and Duran each beat Floyd. I agree. Chavez is an all time great, but he would be hit by the super quick one two – left then right by Mayweather all night.

Floyd is a master at positioning himself and using movement to hit and not get hit. Chavez may be successful applying pressure like Castillo was at times, but I think Julio too slow would lose too many rounds over a 12 or 15 round fight. Floyd doesnt stand and trade like Taylor did, he gives angles and punches at the right time extremely quickly to keep Chavez off balance – and he beats him by decision, IMO.
Duran, on the other hand, very quick release of his punches, fast, and very heavy hands at lightweight will beat Floyd.
Leonard, Hearns and Hagler naturally too big and too good for Floyd, IMO.

P4P Floyd is up there with all of them, but at his best he is too light for the naturally bigger Duran, Leonard, Hearns, and Hagler.

  4. He's right. Chavez was too plodding and was naturally smaller than Floyd. But Floyd would get annihilated by the others and Duran too.

  5. it's good to hear a proper boxing guys opinion and he's keeping it real. I think he's right. duran, ray l, n tommy would prob be too much for mayweather, but yeah he has a fair chance v chavez, who was also a real incredible fighter. Thing is when you look at floyds history and how he avoided boxers and the ones he did fight he avoided them when they were at their best, so that points convincingly to floyd would have avoided chavez to. Even if he had have faced chavez I think it would have been very likely that chavez wud have been the last GREAT boxer he floyd wud fight. He wouldnt have wanted to have a fight like that again in his carer. No hating its just you judge people mainly by ther actions. Buddy mcgirt by the way was a classy world class boxer/champion. Floyd wouldnt have found him easy either. Think pernel whitaker beats floyd to.

  6. Chavez knocked out Roger Mayweather in two rounds in their first fight and then made him quit on his stool in the rematch. And I think Roger Mayweather was a better fighter than Floyd Jr.

  7. Did buddy forget chavez beat the shit out of Roger! Come on man be real. Even Floyd said in a interview sitting next to chavez sr. He would lose to him.

  8. Buddy….how the hell is Floyd gonna fight Hagler??? Marvin is a middleweight and Floyd Jr is 130-147. Floyd is great for today but there are no guys nowadays like Chavez, Whitaker, Leonard, Duran, and Hearns to compare him to. It's really about hit and not get hit, and keep your money. When it comes to money these guys didnt blow theirs- Holmes, Hagler, Floyd Jr, and George Foreman. Most of the rest of them did blow their money.

  9. OK, so wait…..Jose luis Castillo arguably beat Floyd in their first fight and he was a sparring partner for Chavez.  Chavez had more stamina, a better chin, and hit harder than Castillo.  He was 10 times the fighter Castillo was.  After Chavez gets to Floyd's ribs, Floyd runs the rest of the fight.

  10. listen floyd did beat all these great fighters but the point is when. at what point of their careers did floyd beat em? name me one great fighter that was in his prime that floyd beat. you can't name me one. when floyd fought those guys people already knew who was gonna win. floyd always was like 10 to 1 favourite everytime. now lets take SRL for example. he beat Benitez, Hearns, Hagler, Duran ( no mas but it is what it is) in their PRIMES. people didnt know who was gonna win those fights, in other words it was 50/50. now whats more impressive to win a fight when everybody expects you to win or win a fight when people dont expect you to win. OK THEN. floyd is great but in my book not even top 10

  11. To put Floyd in with fighters that fought their apex rivals and over 15Rounds is beyond elementary. As far as, Chavez Sr., Floyd would opt not to fight him. Just as he opted not to fight many high risks in his own era. RESEARCH folks ! Never-mind these mythical fights that can never happen. What about Floyd’s high risks from his own era. That tells the entire tale. Again, Elie Seckbach proving his ineptitude and questions that are cartoonish. ©️ Coach Hilario 2020

  12. All the "X beats Y" boxing fans have seemed to have not noticed or forgotten- "on any given night, anything unexpected has a chance of happening", if that wasn't true there would NEVER be an upset.

  13. Mayweather lost to Castillo in the first fight but got a gift win. What do you think Chavez would have done to him? Look what Chavez do to the great Roger Mayweather twice.

  14. Chavez destroys Mayweather. Castillo beat Mayweather but got robbed. Imagine what a prime heavy handed Chavez does to Mayweather. Chavez by wide decision or stoppage.

  15. Agree Chavez’s style lets mayweather work,he would definitely get rocked maybe even dropped but would adapt and beat him on a close decision, but man it can go bad if mayweather gets over confident.

  16. Sugar ray Leonard, hagler, herns , Duran, and Mayweather jr all my favourites fighters. However prime sugar ray Leonard is a fifteen rounds juggernaut.

  17. Why people throw hagler's name when floyd is mentioned? Floyd never fought 160. Put hagler aside – hearns, leonard, duran, arguello, prior, benitez – those are the guys floyd would have to fight to establish dominance back than. He would never be unbeaten if he'd took all these fights

  18. Analising by just saying: "but he is 50-0"..
Dude – youre interviewing a great former boxer that just told you and rightfully so- that loses are not the end of the world and wont damage your status if you face the best. The fab 4 had 9 fights between them and they all lost and defeated each other. Mayweather is 50-0 because he didnt fight in the 80s. Btw – 50-0? Dumb to me how people hold it in his precious record a win over a guy who have no idea how to throw a jab. Only in these days – where the money is dripping from the cieling people will look at this attrocity as a good thing (reffering to a BOXING match between a boxer and an mma fighter. Good way to pet your bruised ego and selling to the world that you are the greatest).

  19. This is just "my era is better than your era" talk. All guys were great. Truly these fights could go either way when they're at their best.

  20. Leonard didn't beat Hagler. He was running for 12 rounds. It was a bag job. Even many of Leonard's fans think he lost. Leonard got "Clubber Langed" by the Macho Man and Terry Norris. Hagler lost decisions early in his career. He was knocked down once and he complained that he wasn't. Marvin was never knocked out to my knowledge.

  21. Mayweather couldn't beat "The Hawk", Aaron Pryor at 140. How the hell could he beat Tommy Hearns, Ray Leonard or Roberto Duran at 147? No Way.

  22. I like how one of the greatest fighters and trainers of all time gave his assessment based on his experience but all these couch huggers on here trying to discredit him. Boy I tell ya the comments section is the devil😂😂😂

  23. McGirt himself would have beaten Chavez if their paths crossed. And as far as the interviewer trying to sneak Chavez' name in the same argument about Robinson goes………? Hell , Chavez wouldn't amount to a pimple on a "Prime" Robinson's ass.

  24. Floyd is really good, but really overrated in the greatness category. He simply doesn't belong on the list. Don't get me wrong, he's really good for the era. But like Robert Garcia said, "Floyd wouldn't fight Margarito cuz he was too dangerous". How could he have beaten Hearns, Hagler, Leonard or Duran? Doubtful he'd beat Chavez. Too much pressure and chin. Floyd with glass, pillow hands takes damage and loses, cuz he's not as fast or dynamic as Taylor, nor as illusive at Whittaker (the REAL defensive genius) Floyd gets gifted all the hugging he wants(excessive hugging is against the rules, but they allow Floyd to do just that)

  25. Leonard and Hearns were murderers with blinding speed and numbing power. Cuevas and Davey Green had to be scraped off the mat. And McGirt was a very nice boxer.
