I have to say it’ll be more enjoyable watching them this year after the last few years were starting to turn the corner we’re just gonna get better and better each year gonna be a great watching them make a run for the cup in the near future! Let’s go Hawks!

Picks 18 and 27 cost them 3 second round picks when it didn’t have to cost anything. That’s messed up. Never mind the argument for relative talent that was passed up.
Love the Bertuzzi and Tevo move !!! But the back up Goalie might be the best. Picked up some D , great day overall
Going to be hard for AA to find a spot , he is not ideal in the bottom 6. And top 6 should be filled , we will see

I will say that I was surprised he dropped that far.
That said, WTH was Anaheim thinking? If they take Lindstrom, a a similar but better player than Senneke, Columbus would have been open to trading the #4 pick and maybe the Hawks could have gotten Demidov.

Tyler Bertuzzi is an excellent signing. Surprised they did not sign Sam Lafferty – 2 yrs. at $2 million per year does not sound rich to me. Nice to see Joey Anderson rewarded with a 2-yr. contract. Anyone who finished the 2023-2024 NHL season with a + rating (Joey Anderson was +5 over 55 games) should be mentioned for the Hart Memorial Trophy.

C+. We missed out on some big names and soderblom is an objective bust. He never belonged on an NHL roster. Bertuzzi was a good signing though as long as he doesn’t pull a domi and take dumb ass penalties. We need bonafide scorers. We have yet to sign one. Bedard is the only pure scorer on this roster. Gonna be a rough couple more years until we can draft one, but KD had the chance this year and chose more role players… Demidov and Eiserman were the guys we needed.

Grade C+ for draft. No upset with the 2 later 1st rounders , but getting rid of 3 2nds for guys that should have been there anyway. Vanneker was getting surgery , which he would have probably been there at our 2nd spot. Head scratcher

Back in the day the Penguins would put an average winger with Mario , and he would put up crazy #s. Then trade him for a nice package
