  1. Tree’s answer to Nick Robertson….. 👏👏👏 … (summed up) “ fuck you kid, you’re staying”

  2. This might work for the next 1-2 years and then it's John Tavares 2.0, too old with no-trade clauses…. Same old, same old and expect a different result.

  3. Finally someone looking to improve the D and has actually done it…great work Tre! shanahan has been successfully silenced and will only be in charge of what he is capable of, organizing dinners and staff party’s

  4. DON'T TRADE MARNER!!! Berube will light a fire under his ass. He's one of the best playmakers in the league. He just needs the right motivation. We will regret moving him because we won't get what he's worth in return. Then we'll watch him win a cup with another team.

  5. more old guys signed to deals that are way to long. Is Tanev going to be playing at 40 no he isnt. Ridiculous.

  6. I love all of Brad's move so far. Great job signing players on deals which are well under 5 million. My only hiccup is Tanev. I am indifferent to that contract. Could be another Klingberg. Tanev will be fine short term but 3-4 yrs into that deal we may see a buy out

  7. The Matt Murray signing at such a bargain price is huge. Woll is the starter. He will probably get injured at some point during the year. Stolarz becomes the starter and Murray is a solid back to Stolarz til Woll gets back. Murray may never play. But he is there if needed and though injury prone he should not be called upon to play too many games this season. He is insurance.

  8. A lot of CapFriendly GM modes have leafs parting ways with jarnkrok, kampf, Timmins and Robertson. Addition by substraction but also can bring in quality players/draft picks. LFG

  9. I like the signings but. Are big defensemen gonna help the PP that was their downfall against Boston?

  10. I am an impressed with the way that Tre adds the right ingredients needed for a deep playoff run! Unlike Dubas who just didn’t understand it’s not ALL about speed and skill. It’s vital to insert guys in the lineup who can protect the superstars and young guys coming up! Can’t be having Cowan getting choke slammed like Knies in the playoffs! That was initially addressed with Reaves, but I also like how he brought Domi in, a guy who can move the puck, fly on the ice, and has an edge to his game! And now he’s added Tanev, an ingredient the Leafs have NEEDED for YEARS!!!!
