GMBM has vision. I think it’s going to work out. Carbery is a master at reclamation projects too. 1C opportunity with Ovi will keep him motivated next couple years.

I still remember PLD destroying the Leafs during the bubble.
PLD with 123 points over 154 games last 2 seasons in WPG (71 point per 82GP pace in his last season there) where he played behind Scheifle, 18+ minutes a night, and LA ended up playing him 3 less minutes a night. Washington will play him 19+ minutes a night as a 1C because it's something they don't have. Wouldn't surprise me if WSH was in on the PLD trade from WPG and lost to LA, and go "Well, LA screwed that up, but now we can get him for almost nothing." Rob Blake shouldn't get props for giving up all those assets and the deal. The Caps gave up 0 assets for the same guy 1 year later.
GM of the year 😂 Kings GM Blake is a Disaster who only cleaned up part of his own huge mess!!! PLD trade with the Jets is the worst trade in Kings history specially all the players we gave up! BLAKE NEEDS TO GOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Since 2017 Blake has taken the Kings from having one of the best Prospect pools in the whole NHL to the Abyss an average team at best and all that under Luc's watch! I understand loyalty but Blake doesn't have the balls to man up and resign since he is the real problem and should be held responsible along with Kings president Luc Robitaille!!!!
