The New Jersey Devils announced today that they SIGNED Tomas Tatar To a 1 year Contract! Tomas Tatar played with the NJ Devils during the 22-23 season and played a big part to the teams success. Played in all 82 games that year and scored 20 goals and had 48 points.
That offseason he signed with the Colorado Avalanche and split time last season between there and playing with the Seattle Kraken.

Tatertot! Great signing due to his chemistry, on and off the ice. Thought maybe we get Tarasenko or JVR after Henrique re-upped with Edmonton.

He was a top scorer in MTL. Devils are one of the most improved teams with these smart signings. Upgraded every position
Don't like it. He wasn't worth the 1.5 million he got paid last year. He was abysmal. Why is he getting 1.8 here? He should be getting 875k tops. Poor attempt by Fitz to try and cover for the fact that he failed to deliver the impact forward that we need in the top 6. This isn't the answer.
I. love. this. Tatar is perfect fit and he is what we need. Buys some time with the young guys.
Looking at Tatar's playoff numbers throws cold water on my enthusiasm but I can't complain about bang for the buck.
