Having signed with the Devils this off-season, a redemption-minded Wayne Simmonds, jokes that he would be upset if the Flyers fans don’t boo him when he returns to Philadelphia.
Being a Flyers' fan for nearly 50 years I'd say his leaving hurt just as much as Rod Brind'amour's departure. Though I don't wish for a Devils championship, I'd sure like to see Wayne Simmonds win the cup. One of my favourites…
Not a chance flyers fans boo Wayne. You're a legend in philly. Hardest working man in the NHL & if it wasnt for injuries slowing him down I think he would still be here.
I'm Philly bred,love the Flyers,and he now plays for the team I hate the most out of all sports teams….Still don't know if I could boo him.I like him more than most of the Flyers roster.
Really sucks seeing the Devils making the moves I wanted the Flyers to make,by signing him and trading for Subban.
