Hi Gil! Well at least he did something. Duclair is in his prime—needed a change of scenery (he’s bounced some) adds speed and can can score (crap 8 goals last year though) It’s a good gamble because he will be able to keep up with Barzie and Bo and IMO he can net 30 with those two—-if—if all goes well. Not a sexy signing but the kid can play some. At least it’s not 7 years, at least he’s not 32!! It’s progress. If we can trade JG and not resign Matty and Clutter, maybe Tarasenko can finally become an Islander. Those two would be the two top 6 forwards we need. I’ll tell ya what—-know who I’d trade for? Eric Grubranson—-a pure beast and Can nullify all the nasty cheap shots—-just my wish. Take care Gil!
Ok so this guy has only scored 30 goals one season 13-14 seasons played, he’s a knock around forward with out a home, how much better is he explain what’s the upgrade, who is he pushing out of a spot for a upgrade ? Thanks Gil !!!
He plays good when hes healthy which right now he is so lets go guve this guy a big welcome lets make him feel at home i bet he loves it here and plays hard for us
Cap hell hurts, but given the circumstances I do see potential upside here. IF chemistry can be had with Bo & Barzy I think this works, health aside.
Lets just be thankful Lou didn't give the picks away, that was the most pressing decision this off season. So far I like what Lou has done, Reilly too is a good sign.
This is a good signing! Yeah it’s not the big one we all want but I think Roy could get the best out of him. Best possible move for the isles & duclair at this point, I’m happy with this one Gil but hopefully a couple more quality moves for us before the season starts. LGI 🔵🟠

I always liked duclair. We should have gotten him last season. But better then never

Not overly impressed with his #s. He’s had some good years & not so good years. His +/- looks good. 3.5 million cap hit isn’t too bad. We’ll see.

I like this guy,he’s got speed which we need desperately. Take a look at what Trotz did today..Kudos to him.
