The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Stefan Noesen of the Carolina Hurricanes.
HEAVIER, EDGIER, MORE VIOLENT!
I love this move for the Bottom 6.

I have faith in Mercer, he's good enough to be a 2nd liner with decent upside, he's scored 20+ every season and has strong two way play, I believe he can find a groove and help us

I can't be the only person that is holding my breath for the season series with Nashville.

we don't need Stamkos to score goals, the past couple seasons prove that. We're one of the highest scoring teams in the league, we needed defense and goaltending, end of story. We're going to be a great team next year, stop focusing on big names as if, winning free agency = stanley cup.
Now, yet again, what did we sign that pylon Macdermid for? Waste of 1.3M!!!
The Metropolitan has got better. Are the Devils one of the four best teams in the division? Watch out for Philadelphia but I think they’re still a few years away.
If we do make the playoffs, this Devil team could go on a run.
Yep, between Cotter, Noesen, McDermid, Dillon, and Kovacevic we became a much tougher group.
It'll be a great balance with the skill Jack, Meier, Bratt, Hischier, Dougie, Luke, and Nemec.
Good balance of veterans and young guys. Great #1 goalie and a good backup. Good coach with a lot to prove.
Henrique or Tarasenko would be nice but I'm ready to go with this group.
You all will be very pleased with Kovacevic soon as well. He has had a steady growth curve since his days at Merrimack. He likes to hit and shuts opponents down in space. Will be interesting how lineups take shape on the blue line.

What about Ehlers? Skinner? Are they gone? These moves do not add the top six we need. I cannot believe all of you fail to recognize Failgerald absolutely sucks at convincing upper-level players to play in NJ!!! How? Look at all of the players we lost today! His sale pitch must be so poor! No Star wants to play with Nico and Jack? It’s the GM that needs to get this done. He fails at every turn. Now we will wait for four months to see if he can trade for a mediocre, questionable, top-six player. He’s got to go!
does not appear Tom Fitzgerald will speak with the media today, which leads me to believe the #NJDevils are not done. Guessing he has shifted his attention to the trade market, but we shall see.
okay i know that i don't know the most about cap space and all, but the biggest thing for me is the fact that we are paying ondrej palat SO MUCH MONEY (isn't it like 6 mil???) for him to be doing literally nothing on the third/fourth line. if we're still looking to get a top forward, pls get rid of him. he does nothing IMO. however i agree noesen is a good move by fitz
Another reunion. The #NJDevils announce they brought back defenseman Colton White, signing him to a two-year, two-way deal.
I have a strong feeling Jonas Siegenthaler is about to be traded. We have added a lot of blue line depth.
I like Nose and was mad when they let him go the first time.

I know not many are going to care, but I have to say Thank you Brenden Smith for being the only one to have a set of BALLS on this team till BIG MAC got added. He left for Dallas today. Next to Lazar, he was my favorite player on the Devils. I don’t give a S about what people say about him, he was good on the PK, played O and D, locker room leader and stuck up for the team when everyone else was cosplaying Jesus.

Ace I know Fitzy missed the boat getting a top 6 forward, and we have only 6.7 million left in cap. Thoughts on bringing in one of Nicoli Ehylers from Winnipeg for around $4-5 mil or making a trade with Utah for Crouwse, power forward and in his mid 20s ?
