“Montreal & Toronto in a series. People thought the Habs were out of it…it was a lot of fun to watch. Just really fun moments in my house, jumping around with my brother & my dad. Just enjoying watching the Habs.” – Michael Hage on watching the 2021 playoff run

This guy is literally all of us but he’s actually on the Habs living his dream
ONE OF US ONE OF US ONE OF US
Must be a fucking dream come true playing for the Habs as a Habs fan, I can’t even imagine
MSL said that the single most important thing for him when drafting a player, is a true desire to play for MTL, above all else. it seems like they did just that with Hage and Demidov
He’s living the life we all lived on Be a Pro. Lucky guy. I hope he succeeds, not only because that would be good for the team, but because watching a diehard habs fan light it up is always fun
he just like me fr

How could you not root for this kid?
We got the dynamo forward that we have needed for thirty years, an incredible story who just so happens to be a great player too, and Koivu’s son.
10/10 draft.
It ain’t no Stanley Cup, but this deserves an Emmy:

It was 3-1
I lost my mother a month or so before this series. Was living out of my dad’s spare room with my daughter, 5 hours away from home for months. I wasn’t able to mourn as I was dealing with her vulture sisters and the aftermath of the passing.
This series and this run was the only bright spot (outside of my daughter) that got me through this horrible time.
The joy this series has brought so many of us makes it a moment that I know I will never forget.
