I saw this coming. I was never really impressed with Suter as a defensemen. I respect him as a player and a human being but he’s 38. He’s been around the league as much as Corey Perry. There were some brief moments where he shined this past season but this is a business at the end of the day. He’s probably planning to retire anyway at 40.
